Ascot Letter Press Posters

These posters were recreated from original 1960's Ascot posters. We went to great lengths to match everything about the original process. We used the same clay coated chipboard as the original posters, recreated metal letter press plates, and hunted down a 1940's era printing press that would have been used to print these for special events. These posters were typically stapled to telephone poles and were a common sight around the Los Angeles area. Each poster is hand numbered and debossed with our authentic Ascot seal on a 100 year old hand engraving press.
