In 1986, Ascot pitched this artwork to the "Big Time Animation Studios" we all know so well, but it was swiftly declined by them stating their Mini Mascot doesn't race motorcycles because its "Too Dangerous!" It was time we turned the original hand-drawn sketch into a new Ascot design for us all to enjoy.
